Saturday night at 7PM “OWS Marching Forward”

“Occupy Wall Street Marching Forward” an evening event featuring David Korten, author and editor of Yes Magazine and Dorli Rainey, a Seattle activist icon who recently made international mention as the 84 year old who was pepper sprayed at an Occupy Seattle event; and a special guest speaker from Occupy Wall Street. The event is being held Saturday, February 18th, 7pm, at Temple Beth Hatfiloh, 201 8th Ave. SE as part of the Occupy Solidarity Social Forum. The Social Forum begins 8AM that morning and ends with a performance Sunday evening at the Olympia Ballroom, 116 Legion Way SE, featuring Musical Revolutionaries Jim Page, David Rovics and Danny Kelly. When the conference ends the action begins on Occupy President’s Day, Monday, February 20th, at 10AM at Sylvester Park and a march after lunch at noon to the capitol. The entire conference is available on a sliding scale with the suggested donation of $30 with no one turned away for a lack of funds. “Occupy Wall Street Marching Forward,” is open special to the public by donation. The Musical Revolutionaries is also open to the public for a suggested donation $10.
